Castle Challenge

Page history last edited by Bradley Grant 6 years, 3 months ago

In this challenge students will research the history and creation of medieval castles.

They should know the names for the different castle parts and purpose for each.  Be prepared to take a quiz on this subject.

Once the research is finished the student is to design and create a castle (no larger than a card table, please) out of sturdy material.

They can add the castle to a diorama with grass, trees, a moat, or even  miniature medieval figurines from Michael's or Hobby Lobby.

We will judge all entries in a competition when we get back the first week in January when they are due.

Many of the past winners had a themed castle like the dark stones and lava moat of the black knight or the castle castle of the fairy by the sea.
