La llorona

By: Kalina M.

The la llorana was a very creepy lady that had kids I didn't really like them. Some people say that La Llorona drowned her kids. Also they said the reason she did that was because her boyfriend dumped her. The place that this happened was in Mexico city. She did this because is felt so sorry for her kids she drowned herself. In Mexico city they do have a special day that they do celebrate La llorona. Also in Mexico city they call La llorona "THE WAILER".I couldn't really find how the legend became but i think it all started by a mom making up a story and telling her kids on Holloween.I think this is true because in Mexico city the moms really do that. For that to be told if you ever go to Mexico city never go to the lack or in  else.

The story bog la Llorona was that she had a boy friend and her boy friend dumped her. So her thought that it was her kids fought so she drowned them in a lake in Mexico. She didn't mean to do that so she would cry all the time. That's how she got her name. The legend is when ever you go to the lake in Mexico she will get you! I think that the story is not true because ther has not been one kid that has drowned in that lake.

Great work. Do you think the story has some truth to it? What part if any? (A-)
