Concrete Poems

 

 

There are two major types of concrete poems.

 

Some poems use the words to fill in the shape of the poem.

Some are written horizontally to make the shape. 

The third and rarest is when you use words to form positive space in a picture.

 

 

Another style of concrete poem uses the words to form the outline of the subject in the poem.
