Integrity

Monday:  Define Integrity and the importance of Integrity Have students define Integrity in their own wordsProvide examples: When your mom is outside and you take a moment to jump on all the beds in the house because you know she won’t catch you – that is not living with integrityWhen you pick up litter that blew out of your backpack onto the playground - that’s integrity

Tuesday: Have students write an essay or short story to illustrate that they understand the definition of Integrity.

Wednesday: Random test – stage some test to see how well students are absorbing this lesson· Leave the room and stand outside the door to listen to what goes on. Do they truly act as if you were in the room when you’re not there?·         Plant some paper scraps on the floor in the classroom and see which students display integrity  Class discussion: How did I feel to live with integrity? How did that increase the level of trust? How did it feel to not live with integrity? What effects might it have on you?
