Santa Anna was born in February 21,1794 in Xalapa and he died in June 21 1876 in Mexico City.His wife was Dolores de Tosta. He was a leader, president and general. He influenced the Mexican and Spanish politics and government. He was a hero for the Army and he and got great glory for him and his army. He fought against Mexican independance from Spain. He lived to be 82 years old.He controlled his period that they often called it the " Age of Santa Anna". His Religon is Roman Catholic. In 1810 he joined the Spanish  military. Santa Anna went into battle with Sam Houston in the year of March 1836.After he got caught by the Texans  then he got send back to Mexico and then he got put in jail. Febuary 21 1821 he started his millitary career. He died in Mexico. After his defeat in the coast Sam houston had spared him because they were both Masons and he had to go back to mexico and did not come back.
